Bio: Born to a Russian fisherman who moved to Japan, and a Japanese Buisness-woman, Seraphina was ever the outcast. She had stark, silky blonde hair compared to all of her classmates who ussually had plain black hair. People picked on her for being different, but she embraced this. She was the weird one at school. In the third grade, she stood up to the bullies, and then became best friends with two of them. They dyed their hair together in middle school, and snuck out to go to concerts together. They got into anime, idols and all sorts of things. For a while she just goofed around, spent her parents money and enjoyed life. That was until she was a freshman in highschool and her class took a trip a university. They sat in on an art class, and honestly, she didnt really have any interest, until, a japanese webtoon artist that she had actually been following, came to speak during the class.

 

Normally she sat in the back of the class at school, and either made a scene with her friends or kept quiet. But this time when the artists asked for questions, well, she asked simply,"How Did you get so damn good at drawing!?" And they said,"Well to be blunt. Practice. But to be more informative, I practised every day, watched tutorials, bought how to draw books, read comics, and eventually, I got as good as I am today." So, thats just what Sera set out to do.

Of Course, she was totally shit at first. She drew stick figures, made flipbooks of stick figures fighting. But over time, she got better. Just like that webcomic artist, she watched how to draw tutorials on how to draw certain well known characters, bought manga for reference. Soon she was taking an interest in art class at school, gaing hewr own style, and watching more animation besides just anime.

 

By the time she was a junior in highschool, she had drawn her own, totally insane, plotless manga and shared it with her friends. It was all completly hand drawn, and now she wanted to get a drawing tablet. But, the one she wanted was like a hundred thousand yen. And her parents werent about to get that for her. So, she saved money, and she got a job working nights at an all ages bar, though she still got herself a fake ID so she could make more money, serving alcohol like a regular waitress. Eventually that wasnt enough, so she took a job at a supermarket at nights on the weekends and dove headlong into her art. Before she knew it she was graduating high school and needed to study for college entrance exams. Life got stressfull and she started to rely on her friends more and more.

 

Especially when her parents got divorced. They fought and fought over who would get to "keep" her but she showed them the middle finger, packed her shit and moved in with her best friend while she saved money for an appartment. It was only just around then, she finally got her tablet and started digitally recreating her manga, and releasing it on her own website as a webcomic. Soon enough, Linewebtoon contacted her with interest to pay her for her comic and her work. She instantly agreed, and uploaded the first twenty pages of her manga as "chapter one" of her webcomic. Things finally took off for her.

Thats when she started going to The Tokyo University Of Arts, and then something new clicked. Something sparked inside of her. Literally. Suddenly she was setting things on fire when she didnt want to, she would scream when a man tried to grope her on the train once, and she shattered all the windows. As it turned out, she was a witch. Her magical abilities were finally manifesting, and someone whisked her away from the train and showed her this little secret society of witches and warlocks in japan. her whole world was turned upside down. So now, she was being secretly trained in how to control her powers, she had two jobs, and was going to class still at TUA. She had to drop something, so when she had a day off, she went to a concert with her friends like old times she decided to drop one of her jobs, move into an apartment closer to her....training grounds, and only be a part time student. She took three classes, at max each semester and focused on her magic, and her art.
